With the 2017 NAPCP (National Association of Professional Child Photographers) retreat coming up in the next few days, I thought it was only fitting that I finally blogged about our trip last year! It was held at the beautiful Ritz-Carlton Lodge at Reynolds Plantation, just outside Atlanta. Words cannot even begin to describe how gorgeous the grounds are at the Ritz. I lucked out with a room overlooking the lake with rocking chairs on the back porch, and my view was absolutely incredible. The ladies behind NAPCP definitely don’t skimp on any details! We were welcomed with amazing bags with custom initial tags filled with snacks and goodies and an adorable mug with the theme of the week, “Make it Matter.”
I wish I had captured more images of our great speakers, but I did sneak one of Heidi Hope of Heidi Hope Photography doing her thing in the newborn mentoring session. The friendships that were made during this week are just the best, and I really cherished my time with like-minded creatives! I wish so much that I could attend this year’s retreat in California, but I will just have to live vicariously through all of the pictures to come!
Some iPhone snaps of our time at Lake Oconee:
