I sincerely love social media. Not only does it connect me to the outside (and adult) world on days where I am stuck at home with only my 4 year old, 2.5 year old, and 4 month old to talk to, but it has also allowed me to meet some pretty amazing people. I “met” Lindsey when I first started following her blog back when she was pregnant with her first born, K, in 2010. Our oldest girls are six months apart, so I enjoyed following along on her journey as well. God has placed many struggles in the pathway for this family as both of her children required life-saving bone marrow transplants, but it has been amazing to see how they have come through their trials stronger than ever (you can follow their whole story at http://www.thebmtblog.com/). They aren’t totally out of the clear yet, but things are looking great for them, and I couldn’t be happier.
I was so glad to finally meet this family that I’ve been in contact with and following for so long back in October (2013) when I took their family portraits. We met on a beautiful fall morning at a park in Houston, and I had a blast. K is absolutely hilarious, and little W is so precious. It was his first outing without his mask, so he took full advantage and ran around everywhere. I look forward to continuing to watch K and W grow! Thank you for choosing KBG Photography for your sweet family!
