We have officially reached the point of Summer where the mundane has set in, and my kids are starting to actually want to get back to school and back to their routine…and I’m right there with them HA! But, I kinda love nothing more than the laziness and lack of daily structure that Summer brings (for a temporary amount of time at least), so I’m not excited to see that part go when school starts back in a few weeks!
I also love that warm Summertime evening glow, and if you can stand the humidity (hey, it’s great for the skin!), it’s a perfect time family portraits! I absolutely loved this recent family session, and this sweet little one had a blast searching for big rocks and hidden daisies in the pathway of the field. Capturing kids exploring and discovering their surroundings is one of my favorite parts of these sessions, but I am also such a sucker for capturing and preserving these precious connections between family members.
