I’m not sure why this age snuck up on me, given the fact that she acts like she’s at least 13…but, there’s something that shook me as I realized that she’s halfway to being considered a legal adult. These nine years of motherhood have been such a whirlwind of highs, lows, different cities, many friendships made, and tons of new experiences. It is a blessing and a curse that she is so similar to me in personality, because she and I “get” each other and enjoy most of the same things. However, she is just a stubborn and mouthy as I am was, which makes disciplining her so darn frustrating. All in all, she and I have been able to share some amazing one-on-one adventures, and I am so blessed to call her mine!
